FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Artists Change Business Name!
Laughing Glass Arts is changing it's name to Hot Tempered Glass.
08/21/06 --After some discussion and reluctance the owners
of Laughing Glass Arts, Dia Hilton and Jennifer Bull have decided to change the
name of their business. "It seemed to be a more popular name that we
realized at the time and we want to avoid conflicts with fellow artists",
Jennifer was quoted as saying. "There seem to be approximately 3
other businesses in the US with the name of Laughing Glass so to avoid confusion
with these other artists and businesses we will be changing our name.
Unfortunately we just renewed our website so we'll have to keep the website for
a year but as soon as possible we will also be changing our website name to Hot
Tempered Glass at
www.hottemperedglass.com until
then it will stay
www.laughingglassarts.com ". The total changeover will take
approximately a year to complete but most of the changes will be immediate.
To find their Lampwork items you can catch them at various art and craft shows
in the Greater Omaha Metro Area or
online on eBay under the seller name of hottemperedglass. For a list of art and
craft shows they will be attending you can visit their website.

Work at Home Mom Goes On-Line
Leaving her position at First National Merchant Solutions, Jennifer Bull
kicks off Laughing Glass Arts with her partner Dia Hilton.
07/05/05 --In a current wave of mom's wanting to stay at
home, Jennifer Bull has done it. But "it's not going to be easy" as she
puts it and is currently trying to solve one of the problems of stay at home
Mom's everywhere. "I'm trying to solve the problem of how to stay at home
for a few years, keep your resume current, make a little money on the side and
rear a responsible and thoughtful child." So to help solve these problems,
Jennifer has started Laughing Glass Arts with her fellow artist and former
teacher Dia Hilton. Together they make and display Lampwork beads, Holiday
Wreaths, Photography and they're selling their products at various venues
throughout the Midwest.
Two years ago Jennifer took a Lampworking class from Dia Hilton and the rest,
as they say, is history. Together they have been making beautiful Lampwork
Beads and displaying them in such venues as the Swerve Gallery in Blair, and the
All Member Show as members of the Midwest Lampworkers Guild.
But glass isn't the pairs only creative outlet. Jennifer has been
making holiday wreaths for family and friends for more than 5 years and has
added wreaths to her repertoire of items for sale on eBay. Dia has a eye
for photos and has been catching images on film for more than five years.
But the next question became, as a stay at home Mom, how many art shows can you
go to? The answer is "not many, it's hard to pick up your four month old and
drag her around to art shows with you." So they found another outlet,
eBay! Through this on-line auction Jennifer has been able to balance the art of
art and sales.
