This class consists of four hours of
demonstrations, lessons and hands-on experience for making Lampwork
Glass Beads We'll discuss
basic safety information about the
torch, equipment and proper handling of the fuels/gases that you will
be using. The $120.00 cost of the class covers all the materials,
glass, supplies and equipment you will be using. This class will be
taught on Nortel Minor Bench Burner Torches. A class outline will be
provided so you can concentrate on watching the demonstrations,
working with materials and not taking notes. Supplemental handouts and
reference books will be available at the end of the class for students
to look through. Having your beads kiln annealed is optional and would
require students to return to the studio to pick them up at a later
date.
The class structure
is setup so everything is provided and you leave with a bucket of
knowledge about Lampwork glass beads, how to make them, ideas on setup
of your own studio, lots of extras, and glass beads! Plus once you’ve
taken a class from me it comes with a lifetime of answers and if you
ever have a question you can email me and get an answer.
